By optimizing the outflow of hot air from the engine bay, these louvers facilitate improved airflow through the radiator and, if equipped with a Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC), enhance cooling stack efficiency. Furthermore, the reduction in engine bay pressure contributes to a decrease in front end lift, providing a modest increment in front end downforce. This reduction in pressure also positively impacts the performance of the Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC).

Throughout the design process, Verus Engineering employed scan data and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to strategically position the louvers on the hood. This placement aligns seamlessly with the hood's contours and strategically locates the louvers in a low-pressure area, optimizing the evacuation of hot air.
