This easy to apply 3D Carbon textured vinyl overlay will spruce up your interior just a bit. Works well with other carbon fiber and carbon fiber look products. NOTE: This only fits models with a stock shifter boot and chrome trim ring. Please see photos.

3D Carbon Fiber Shifter Overlay

Made with premium vinyl, this overlay are ultra easy to install. It give your interior a subtle upgrade at a small price. Just gently remove the trim in the area and apply this overlay. Its air egress liner aids in installation giving pockets of air an easy way to escape.

NOTE: Despite having a textured carbon fiber look, this is a calendered vinyl film. It is rated for a life of 5 years. Use of protectants such as Armor All is okay. Designed for use with vehicles that have a black trim and a leather shift boot. Some vehicles have a silver trim instead. It has not been tested with those.

Installation

This video shows the installation on our Forester. For other vehicles, you may need to lift up on the eBrake trim and rear portion of the center console to pop out the shifter trim.

If needed, you can use a small amount of soapy water to make it easier to slide the overlay into position. Once in place, use a little heat from a hair dryer to make the water evaporate and the turn the back side of the overlay sticky again.
